Based in Lincolnshire, Agri.Cycle was set up in 2005 with the pending introduction of the Agricultural Waste Regulations in May 2006. Since then, they have been providing a high quality service within the farm plastic recycling industry. In 2010 they designed and built a spent shotgun cartridge line, capable of recycling over 1.6 billion cartridges per year, making Agri.Cycle the largest cartridge recycler in the UK. They also operate 3 wash lines, thus diverting more material away from landfill. To power the plant, they have installed solar panels and a water processing plant, the aim of which is to reduce their overall carbon footprint and promote a greener working site.
Farm XS is owned by Wiltshire based WebbPaton Land Agents and was set up in 2005 in response to the Agricultural Waste Regulations 2006. Farm XS operate 34 sites across England and parts of Wales. We run a membership scheme for farming and equestrian businesses taking their waste plastic for recycling; we accept plastic in dumpy bags and our members either deliver into one of our sites or we collect from their yards. We bale the plastic and pass it into the recycling industry for re-processing. We endeavour to run a cost effective farmer friendly and easy to use scheme, whilst also providing a business diversification opportunity for our team of Collectors.
